Firelighting is an ancient, useful and rewarding bushcraft skill. There's nothing like sitting around a fire, sharing food and stories with friends. And there's nothing like having the skills and confidence to light a fire in all kinds of weather!

On this fun workshop you will have a chance to learn some key firelighting skills using a range of techniques, including the Egyptian bowdrill - one of the easier friction methods. We will also cover fires for different situations, some simple and tasty campfire cooking, and leave-no-trace practice.
