Join naturalist and forager Dan Puplett to discover more about the world of wild food. We will look at safe identification of a number of plants and how to collect them sustainably. Together we will make rosehip syrup over the fire which will later be used in the feast! We will also explore the role different wild foods have played in our lives over the millennia, as well as celebrating the amazing wildlife these plants support.
This workshop is part of Rafford’s Growing Roots, a collaborative project of Rafford Village Hall and Naturally Useful, showcasing Rafford’s land-based heritage in support of growing community connections. It is funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and Moray Council.
