Wildlife Tracks & Signs Weekend - Moray

  • Marcassie Farm Forres Moray (map)

This course is for anyone who would like to deepen their understanding of how to read the clues animals leave behind. We will go into depth on track morphology, gaits, scat, feathers, feeding signs, burrows and more.

Anyone with an interest in wildlife will benefit from this course and it is also ideal for conservation professionals, outdoor educators and bushcrafters. It will be helpful for those who are interested in taking part in a Track & Sign evaluation in the future (CyberTracker certification is the international standard for assessing trackers in the field). We are planning to host an evaluation in the north of Scotland next year.

This weekend can be a standalone course, or combined with a second weekend course at Bamff Rewilding in Perthshire, 6-7th July. The combination of courses will allow you go learn even more about tracking and cover an even wider range of species. There is a discount available for booking both weekends.

Dan Puplett has a Level 4 certifcate (100%) in Track and Sign and has been studying tracking intensively for over two decades.

£150 for one weekend.

£275 for two weekends
